“Never Again!”

I took my cat here after he became unwell. Over a period of 6 weeks the vets were unable to give a proper diagnosis, although assumed the worst, and thankfully referred my cat elsewhere. The place my cat was referred to couldn't quite believe the lack of coherent facts from the vets and ended up having to start from scratch.

I would never recommend anybody sending their pets there.

“Life savers”

I turned up unexpectedly last year with my very badly injured dog Tasha after she had been attacked by 3 dogs. The team saved Tasha's life and I can't thank them enough. All of the vets and nurses were lovely, not just on that day but throughout her recovery. We are now registered with them and Tasha cant wait to get into the surgery! Heartfelt thanks to everyone for saving a very precious family pet.

“Wouldn't recommend ”

Wrong place to take your pet to. They can't tell if a male dog is neutered or not. You be the judge of the level of professionalism.

“Wouldn't go anywhere else ”

Absolutely brilliant surgery. We have pet rats and not only is their surgeon incredibly knowledgeable about the care of small exotics and rodents, they are friendly, helpful and as caring as they would be to a dog or cat.

Not the nearest vet to my house, but I wouldn't go anywhere else.

“Simply the best”

Great vets, who can achieve the impossible, backed up by a brilliant team of vet nurses and receptionists who really love the animals in their care. Without them, I'm sure my eldest lab would be nothing but a memory - brilliant surgery and total 24-hour care. And it's not just my opinion - every one of my dogs wants to be first out of the car and into the surgery for cuddles. Can be quite a pantomime at times, but they are always welcomed with a smile. Thank you Avenue Road vets - you're the best!
