We are delighted to have been shortlisted for The Good Web Guide 2009.
Liane Dietrich of Linkshare UK - 'Makes me wish I had a pet. Or that there was such a simple site for humans.'
Emma Jones of Enterprise Nation - 'Very easy to use. Incredibly clearly laid out. Useful service.'
Yanique Francis-Lalin - 'Good idea and great symptom checker facility. However I feel this site needs more content like this to keep people interested.
*Intuitive, informative, immediate advice when vets are not available - perfect example of how the web has made information instantly accessible to millions of pet owners who would previously have had to pay a large fee for the same advice - it's brilliant.
*The website is really easy to use and you can actually get access to the vets via twitter as well which is really useful. I like the page about general health care advice as well, really useful.
*Good source of advice, presented in a very clear and accessible way.
*So clear to use - gives you confidence in the advice.
*The Vet Help Direct website offers an invaluable service, which I've used several times and continue to recommend to friends and family. The website is full of clear, easy to understand information.
*I think this is such a great idea! As my cat can't tell me how bad she feels, I have to guess and I'm not an expert - just know if something's not quite right. Vet Help Direct can put things into perspective and let me know how urgent a problem could be.
*It's free, easily accessible, easy to follow, information is generated by specialists. It's great for animal welfare because as owners you know when the signs are really serious, when to worry and when not to. No excessive marketing, its NHS Direct but better.
