Awesome customer service, great communication, great with animals, friendly to clients, nothing is too much trouble and they let me ask as many questions as I liked and I didn't feel rushed. What a great veterinary practice.

As a newcomer to Barking, I was worried about finding the right vet for my two cats. I need not have worried as Goddards are professional, synpathetic and clearly like animals. They gave me plenty of time to ask questions and get advice about helping my cats get used to their new city surroundings after living previously in a large garden with fields around. Parking is easy too -- on the road outside with a council coin-operated ticket machine. Its on a main bus route as well (Longbridge Road goes past Barking Park) so all points covered. Thanks Goddards!

My dear cat Fyodor has been very ill with lymphoma and has been treated at another Goddards branch. Despite best efforts from the excellent vet there and ourselves (and Fyo) he very sadly failed to respond to treatment and became incontinent and was losing weight rapidly and I made the heartbreaking decision to let him go. Regretfully, my own vet was on a course and I didn't want to see a locum we didn't know, though I do not for one second doubt their ability, and that is where the wonderful Karen Edwards at Barking branch came to our rescue yet again. She helped us under similar circumstances last year with our dog and we knew she possessed the correct balance of kindness, empathy and professionalism. How grateful we are to her. She was so very kind and reassuring to Fyo and to us and made a very distressing and difficult time just that little bit less so. She talked us through what would happen in a calm and reassuring manner and confirmed to us that we were doing the right and kindest thing for Fyo whilst at the same time acknowledging our grief and how hard it was for me, in particular, to let him go. She was respectful towards Fyo at all stages of the procedure, which was mercifully quick and painless. You have a little gem in this vet..don't let her go. Thank you Karen.

I recently gave my 7yr old a kitten named Arthur. I knew nothing about cats and asked lots of questions at the Goddards surgery. The staff are always cheerful, friendly and gave me lots of advice. My son enjoys bringing his kitten to the surgery and looking at the tropical fish on display. I was impressed with everything to do with the Goddard Barking Essex surgery. Thank you for your help.

The team at Goddard Barking showed much compassion and understanding when it was discovered my cat had a terminal illness. All throughout his final months, the attending Vet and all the nursing staff always showed a personal interest in Prakash\'s welfare which made the final decision on his future a little easier to bear. A special thank you to Dominique, Tina, Claire and Sam at Barking and also to Lauren at the Wanstead Hospital.

Our dog has an ongoing condition with her skin and ears. The vet was very friendly, showed a great deal of consideration and care and gave us great advice. Hopefully we have her condition under control now.
