Clinic reviews

Thank you to the team at the Ham branch! Luella and Sue looked after my little cat Carl whilst he had his operation to remove his tail. The service was professional and they put my mind at ease. They also made a fuss of Carl and didn't just treat him like 'another cat'. Very happy with the aftercare too.

You did wonderfully well - but that's not news, you-all ALWAYS do wonderfully well. Everyone at my local (Back Lane, Ham) clinic is cheerful, friendly, helpful and very professional at the same time. Not easy. And they treat our beloved animals with gentle care, expertise and the respect they deserve. They know how much I appreciate them and I'm glad you-all do too, now.

I can trust the vets completely when having to leave my cats in their care. This has been my vetinary practise for many many years. definitely would reccomend them

Great surgery and wonderful staff

Recently I took my cat in to have his teeth cleaned (as well as two extractions) and found all aspects of his care and treatment to be of the highest standard. I was grateful that they made a fuss of him and I am pleased with the aftercare and advice. I would certainly recommend this practice to all dog and cat owners.

We got our cat 13 years ago through recommendation by Sue. Since then she get's her yearly check up at Ham Vets. She is always treated beautifully by all the staff. As she is still healthy, they must be doing a good job. Thank you.

waited in a reception which was empty for 5minutes. greeted by a reception who was unfriendly, unhelpful and obviously stressed. not recommend

Vet Response

I am extremely sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the service you received on your visit to the Ham surgery. Unfortunately sometimes the vet requires assistance with procedures or emergencies which may leave reception unmanned for a short period. These can be stressful occurrences for clients and staff alike since animal welfare and our patients are always our highest priority. Our staff join me in apologising again and if you want to pop into the surgery to discuss anything further you are welcome to come and meet our friendly team who will be able to help with what you need.

I recently took my cat to the surgery for routine injections and took him back home having been diagnosed with a tumour. I was given very clear information on the options available and how those might be considered given my cat's age. Despite a lot of lip biting I burst into tears and eveyone was very kind. Next visit I managed not to!
