I have used Haddenham vet practice for many years for a variety of dogs and small animal pets over the years that I have lived in Haddenham. Ian Payne is a vet I trust totally, he is professional and knowledgeable and he is gentle and kind: both with animals and with their owners. I have recently had cause to use the vet hospital in Aylesbury for my dog. Luke, the orthopaedic surgeon, has been extremely good to my pet both during and post the operative period, he has consulted regularly with me and has explained fully the whole procedure. He discharged his patient into my care when she was very distressed in the hospital, absolutely the right decision, and I have been completely trusting of both his operative skills and his professional advice. I have met more of the veterinary staff over the past few weeks than I had over the previous years, recently, and they have all been unfailingly kind and concerned. I have been able to trust this splendid veterinary hospital completely with my precious dog. Thank you to all of the staff who have cared for my ex-guide dog, Kathy and her family. With my very best regards, from Jill.

It has taken a while to pull myself together enough to write this, but I wanted to say a huge thank you to Lizzie and the whole team at Hampdens for the care given to my Bert throughout his brief but courageous fight with cancer. We were so impressed with Lizzie's attitude and level of care - we know how hard she tried to save Bert and she was there throughout the whole ordeal - whether he was at the hospital or branch she was always there which gave us comfort to know Bert was with a familiar, kind presence. The nurses at the hospital were also always so lovely and helpful and we know they made him comfortable. We were dreading Bert's final visit to you, but the receptionist was so kind, and Lizzie made it so peaceful and quiet we were very grateful. We miss Bert everyday, and are so grateful for all your practice did for him, and for us.

We would like to thank Richard and his team for all the hard work put in with Jasper. Unfortunately our beloved Jasper was put to sleep. Richard is a fantastic vet and went the extra mile to help us. We cannot recommend Richard enough. Thank you Richard

Lizzie at the Haddenham branch is so kind, caring and very good with my nervous cat! Would recommend her to all cat-owners, never found a vet who's so good with cats!

I first went to this paractice in 1984 with a dog that I wanted a second opinion on. Colin Price agreed with me that we should treat the injury differently and it worked, I have been with this prractice ever since and have got on really well with all the vets I have met, they have all been really good with my dogs and cats, always professional and i have no complaints. I like that they treat me as a knowledgeable animal lover who understands what they are talking about and are willing to discuss various aspects of canine health with me. I only have one major problem with the practice...... I want to move from the district and can't take them with me! So I worry about finding a vet as good, then end up staying where I am... I am doomed to stay in this area! lol

I have been using the Haddenham Surgery for many years, previously with 2 Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs and in the past 6 years with my little Bichon Frise Lottie. My Ridgebacks had little wrong with them however Lottie has had a range of issues that seem to beset this adorable little breed. The staff at Haddenham have been absolutely brilliant in helping me work through the various things that have needed to be explored and treated. Lottie's lovely vet Ian Paine is so patient and approachable and always explains everything fully especially when some treatment may be needed meaning I can make an informed decision. I've always felt that decisions about the care and treatment that Lottie receives are made in partnership with Ian as he advises and where necessary gently guides towards what is best for her whilst respecting my wishes. I couldn't write this review without also mentioning Malveen the lovely receptionist who has been amazingly helpful on numerous occasions often going beyond what I would expect her to do. All in all this amounts to great of peace of mind for me when I need help with the healthcare issues of my precious pet, Lottie and I are very fortunate to have such caring people to turn to. Thank you for everything.

I was a client of the Fairford Leys branch of the practice since 2002, with my cat Holly. In the past, I've mostly been looked after by Robin or Leonie, who have always been wonderful with Holly (& even with me, when I've been worried or upset). They've always been thorough, professional, friendly and very caring. In December, Holly developed a tumour in her eye, and more recently in her chest and kidneys. Due to more emergency visits, I was also looked after by Natasha and Luke - again, both were lovely, very professional and also reassuring. I only ever met Malcolm once, when sadly Holly had to be PTS. He came to my home, at very short notice. Despite the fact that I was very distressed and tearful, he was so calm and comforting, and so obviously cared. He let me sit and cuddle her for a while afterwards. A few days later, I received a card of condolence from Robin, with a personal hand-written message. It was such surprise and a lovely thing to do. I was very touched by the gesture. I must also mention the ladies on reception at Fairford Leys - the sweetest, kindest and friendliest of ladies! They are definitely an asset to the practice. In the last 13 years, I have never had a negative experience with anyone at the practice (quite the opposite - I always felt that they had Holly's best interests at heart) and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them.
