Whenever I bring my dog in the staff all are very kind to her and I can tell that she is well looked after when I am not here because they automatically pick her up and cuddle her. She wags her tail when she sees various people so I know she is happy. As an owner you understand that sometimes medical procedures have to be done that are not very pleasant but you want your pet to feel safe and loved while anything is being done. Everyone is professional of course but there is a level of kindness there. Thats why I redommend the surgery to everyone and why I continue to return with various pets.

True concern for wellbeing of pet. Our cat Smokey was well taken care of. A willingness to listen to the parent/pet owner and find a suitable solution and treatment in the best interests of the pet. Out of hours service and advice by email. Felt well looked after and in good hands. Professional service at all levels at the Esher clinic.

The reception staff Sally and Paul at Medivet Hinchley Wood are great. They give a warm welcome, pay attention to my cat and handle all aspects of my appointment very well. At difficult times over the years, Sally has given me good advice and support, she's a pleasure to deal with. I also appreciate the separate cat waiting area which avoids dogs approaching my cat in her cage and making her even more stressed at being at the vets. The nurses are all very friendly, helpful and kind to the animals as well as informative. The vets are usually very good with my cat and give sound professional advice whilst treating her kindly.

I would like to thank Louise and all her team for looking after, not only our dog, Oscar, but also being so sensitive to us as owners at such a difficult time. Oscar became very unwell whilst being cared for by family while we were abroad and he proved to be quite a difficult diagnosis. Louise ensured she was immediately available to take our long distance call and even phoned my parents to check up on Oscar during the evening. He was very unwell and we feared we may not see him again which was heartbreaking for all concerned but because he had received the correct diagnosis, he was given the specialist care he needed which he responded to very well. We were so happy to return from our holiday and see his waggy tail once more. We were then able to spend his final days with him as a family whilst he was comfortable and happy. This extra time was priceless and I can't thank Louise enough for making it happen. Xxx

I never write reviews but the care poor Lily has received this week has been exceptional. Lily was attacked in the woods and suffered a nasty bite and collapsed lung. We thought we were going to lose her but just 4 days later she is at home, sore but smiling. From my first phone call to now the care and love shown to Lily has been heartrending. Louise, Stephanie and the whole team, we cannot thank you enough. A*** service, commitment and dedication. Thank you.

I never give on line reviews but recently my dog was unwell and the support and care that he received from Louise and her team was exceptional. However, this was not a one off situation - just an example of the general approach taken by this practice. Louise has looked after my pets (both cat and dog) for a number of years. Louise inspires confidence. I feel as if she treats my dog as her own. She also tells it to me straight helping explain difficult concepts, setting out options and allowing me to participate in the decision making. The team are great as well, friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to fit in an appointment or arrange a call back. The practice is well run, it is clean, appointments are on time and it is friendly. Thank you all for all your help to us.

There's not much more we can say other than that we think you are all absolutely amazing and that we have always trusted you implicitly with our pets. We've always felt that Medivet Esher goes above and beyond the call of duty. You have been with us through good times and bad, and the care you have shown throughout is testament to what a professional and totally dedicated vet practice you are. We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Thank you for all that you do. Miles & Petra xxx

From the moment I dashed into the surgery at 5.00 pm on a Friday evening about 5 weeks ago with our beloved family cat who had been hit by a car, I knew we were in safe hands. Jasper was very poorly and needed emergency surgery that evening. He spent a week as an in-patient, being cared for by the lovely staff both at Richmond and Esher and was finally allowed home, still being fed via a feeding tube which was a bit daunting for us non-medical people to administer. However, after lots of advice and explanation from the nurses, all went well and Jasper started to show an improvement. Louise even gave us her mobile number to contact her over the weekend in case we had queries which was very reassuring. We're sure Jasper has been very grumpy cat and posed a challenge to the vets at times over the past weeks, but we're pleased to say he's making a good recovery, all down to Louise and her team's excellent care and professionalism. We were particularly impressed with Louise's communication, always calling us herself to give an update on Jasper's condition and being very clear and honest about his progress. All the staff at the practice are so friendly and lovely which certainly made our many visits easier. Thank you to all of you, you have been very kind and I would highly recommend your practice to anyone reading this.

There is a fair bit to consider and quite a few potential problems when relocating an animal overseas. We had several anxious moments in preparing for our dog's flight to Trinidad & Tobago as a result of him missing a booster vaccination. Thanks to Louise however, and her kind and patient assistance in sorting through all the little hurdles we had to overcome, our dog made the flight and is now safely with us enjoying a new life in the Caribbean. It was the most worrying part of our international move so we are really grateful for the efficient and professional help we received. Louise worked relentlessly to get problems sorted while always managing our expectations in a realistic manner. We highly recommend this practise to anyone that wants to know your pets will be looked after above and beyond expectations!
