Medivet Radlett has been our family's vet for over 14 years. Alan and his team have always provided an excellent professional, caring service. They are devoted to every animal they care for, offering expert advice both over the phone and face to face. Time is never an issue and they will spend as long as is necessary with you. I trust their advice implicitly and feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of caring professionals on the doorstep. They make you feel like your animal is really special especially during the saddest times (losing our cat aged 22 years old). Not sure what I would do without Alan and his team!

i cant express enough how loving and caring this team are towards animals. my 3 year old springer has had 3 operations in the last 6 months, there love and the way they look after the animals is amazing. even after all my dog has been through he still is so pleased to see the veterinary team tail wagging.

We were amazed by Alan's caring and patient nature when he saw our bunny this evening. We had been chatting with some other staff and soon realised today had already been a very long day for Alan. Nothing was too much trouble for him, though. He sat on the floor with our rabbit, Chloe, and treated her like she was his own little baby. We were allowed to discuss all treatment options without ever feeling rushed. We felt that he was very thorough and honest, and we really appreciated him going 'above and beyond' so late in the day. Thank you, Alan.

Alan and his team are great. So friendly, so caring and such great vets. We've been going to this vet for years, with all sorts of small animals, and they are really fantastic.

With a young puppy and an older dog who needed a full hip replacement, Medivet Radlett began to feel like our second home for a few months as one or other of them was always in there. I cannot praise highly enough the compassionate, friendly, professional service of the whole Medivet team, whose dedication to their patients and their owners is abundantly clear. Both my dogs love going and get excited as soon as we stop the car outside. Thank you!

I've had to move completely out of the area and so it's impossible for me to get to Alan, but I have received fantastic treatment for my dogs and cats. I've recently had to have an operation on my dog in my new area, the vets are good, but I still wish it was Alan!

Alan gives over 100% to his human and non human clients. I live in Bedfordshire and I travel all the way to Radlett with my bunnies and occasionally my poultry because I know they get superb care. I know of other rabbit owners who also travel this distance to see him as well. The outcome is not always successful (I currently have 8 rescue bunnies and have been seeing Alan since he was at Watford before he took over Radlett, so many many years) but more often than not he wins or buys extra time against all odds. Some local vets do not even try or say 'well it is just a rabbit'. You are never rushed in the consultation room and I don't think Alan ever goes home as he often rings you after surgery has finished with results and to discuss treatment options. He is a highly dedicated and caring vet. He does not get irritated or dismissive when you bring in something you have read on the web and talks you through whether there is logic to the proposal or not. I will continue to drive 1 hour plus each way to see him as I know my bunnies get the best care there from him and his fabulous team led by the amazing head nurse, Laura.

I couldn't recommend this practice highly enough. I have a very precious and adored Mini Lop houserabbit called Hopkins, who was diagnosed with osteomyelitis at the age of 18 months, which causes multiple health problems, and all other vets told me he was a lost cause. He means the world to me and the possibility of losing him was devastating. Shortly after this I was lucky enough to find Mr Hirschowitz and he has quite literally saved my rabbit's life on many occasions. He has always dealt with Hopkins with enormous kindness, skill and patience, and no matter how many times we have to go we are never made to feel a nuisance. Hopkins is now 4 years and 4 months old with a marvellous quality of life considering his health problems, and this is entirely due to Mr Hirschowitz, I truly could never thank him enough. The rest of his team are also fantastic, so kind and caring; Hopkins actually looks forward to his appointments! There just aren't words to say how impressed and grateful I am. I would wholeheartedly say that this is the best vet and the most oustanding team you will ever find.
