Just like our branches, the Richmond Continuous Care and Emergency Centre provides a dedicated local service to clients, offering a comprehensive, quality service at affordable prices.
In addition it is staffed 24hours every day, providing a round the clock service for hospitalised inpatients and consultations for new cases, both routine and emergency. It also acts as a referral centre for other local Medivet branches.
As a part of the Medivet family, your pet will have the benefit of the skills and experience of over 200 vets throughout the company. Our staff aim to provide a welcoming and professional environment for both pet and client.
We offer both diagnostic and surgical care as well as a wealth of additional benefits to keep your pet happy and healthy.

The vets are kind and caring with my pet, and friendly and informative with me. They aren't pushy or money grabbing, and despite my friends who go elsewhere telling me that the practice is expensive, the Pet Care Plan seems to be really good value as far as I'm concerned. The premises are a bit tatty, but the parking outside is a great benefit and there's never any problem making an appointment which is convenient for me.

I have always found Medivet excellent. The vets and nurses are always knowledgeable, and very kind and gentle with my cat. Nothing is too much trouble. It is so reassuring to know that there is always someone to look after her. The front of house staff are very efficient and friendly. The lovely mural of the practice premises always makes me smile! Thank you

We needed advice late on a Monday when we realised our new puppy had eaten something toxic. The vet and nurse on 24hr call were marvellous and gave us just the right level of intervention so we were reassured and our puppy was full of beans in the morning.

I switched to Medivet from my local clinic in Twickenham in 2016. The fact that it is open on week ends makes a difference to me. It is easy to make appointments, easy to park and it is conveniently located along A316, so easy to find as well. I have two pedigree dogs with inherited health problems so it was important for me to be able to make appointments with a short notice. Vets are very friendly and competent and they have (finally) given some advice re the treatment for my dogs that works. I think it is expensive, but so is everything in England so I guess prices reflect the intention to stay profitable. It can also benefit from some refurbishment, but really animals do not care about it!

When Medicare Richmond set up at Chalker's Corner, we were delighted, as we live only across the street and this made it so easy to take our cats for care. All the staff are friendly and immediately helpful, showing a genuine interest in our animals - and remember them. We greatly value their help.

I found the staff at Richmond absolutely amazing! They quickly dealt with our new puppy and helped us with the Health Care Plan and how to look after him. Nothing was too much trouble and it's a relief that they are so local, professional and smiley! They were extremely knowledgable and put my mind at rest.

When my cat Jess had kidney failure at only 5 all the staff at medivet were kind, sensitive and helped me make the heartbreaking decision to put her down. We came to say goodbye to her and felt very supported during this sad time. Thank you for making her so comfortable in her last days and for the kindness you showed me and my young son.

I rushed my beaut little bichon Alice after getting no from a lady in my local park, she had been to another vet and I wasn't happy so rushed to see them as a emergency, the vet was so kind and caring I was crying with worry and they gave me hope and rushed her away for an op but also telling me exactly wat was going to happ, the nurses were very nice and everyone was so polite and understanding to me.i went home to wait and as soon as I got home they called to say she was waiting to be picked up to go home, the vet explained about everything and wat the medication was for,I went back a few days later which there was no charge to be told she is fine now and recovering well. I can't thank them enough for giving my little Alice back and can't thank all the staff for the kindness and have already recommended the surgery to other dog people that I know, once again thank you all
