We are a long established small animal practice operating from one site with private parking.

We are committed to providing pets and their owners with the best possible care tailored to the wishes and means of the client.

We have medical, surgical, hospital and laboratory facilities.  We offer Osteopathy and Galen Myotherapy on site, and can refer for acupuncture, homeopathy and hydrotherapy. We offer home visits by vets or nurses.

Unlike many local practices we provide our clients with an out of hours emergency service at our premises with staff that they know and access to their pet's records.  We have vets on call 24 hours a day and resident nurses.

We aim to be your first port of call for all pet related matters.  If we can not help we will find someone who can.

Last Sunday our cat suddenly started shaking, shivering, crouching low on the floor, could not find her place and constantly crying out in pain. The Surgery's emergency line was immediately available, we got an appointment straightaway. Examination was thorough and professional, the vet was really gentle, reassuring and friendly towards our cat. She is in now recovery and all we have is praise for the surgery after this shaky start of Sunday.

We have used Oathall since first getting dogs in 2001 and have always been very happy with the care provided for them. I have always found the vets at this practice happy to explain conditions, drugs, and procedures. On two occasions we have needed to rush a dog to them for an emergency and have been very pleased to be dealt with immediately, the dog being examined and admitted for an operation as soon as we arrived.

Ive had dogs all my life and moved so often so as you can imagine we've had many different vets and this by far has been nothing but incredible. We have a puppy basset that we had referred from a vets in Eastbourne (terrible vets) to see Cathy the osteopath. She was amazing, she was great with frankie (the Basset) and was quick to notice problems with her hip, and immediately called in the vet (megan) and they sorted xrays that day. Unfortunately frankie has hip dysplasia as well as numerous serious problems. Megan was absolutely amazing, she sat with us for over an hour explaining everything to us and was so supportive, I was in such a state and she gave us so much help and advice, her hole approach went up and beyond any other vet I've ever dealt with. Every member of staff Ive come in contact with at this surgery have been so lovely, they've given my puppy the most amazing care. It's wonderful and obvious to see that the staff are doing the job for the love of animals.

I cannot rate this practice highly enough. During a very stressful time, our 9 year old Golden Retriever developed an illness which he then died from, the care and treatment Max and us received was second to none. Their sympathy and kindness, without being too sugary, meant a lot to us - we were left for as long as we needed to say our goodbyes and nothing was too much trouble. Yes, a very sad time and Max is and will be sadly missed for a very long time but we felt that he was cared for in exactly the right way.

My little girls hamster had become ill. We booked and arrived within the hour. After check out from the very friendly and empathetic vet we were given the sullen news that unless a risky little op was carried out then there would be no hope. We collected a groggy but recovering Lily a couple of hours later. All on a Saturday afternoon. Warmth, friendliness, professionalism and value. These guys were fab!
