My cat has had 2 operations to remove a leg tumour. The wound had to be left open but healed very quickly both times, I feel, due to surgical expertise and very good aftercare. Staff are kind and professional.

After receiving advice over the phone on this occasion I had to make an appointment. I always get an appointment quickly. The staff are very professional and care about me and my pets. They give me all the information I need on each visit and make it understandable to me. They give me good general advice and I never feel rushed. They check my pets general health regularly. My pet is top priority for me and I feel that when visiting the vet also which is important yo me. I feel that it is good value for money, I don't feel pressured into anything here and feel after care is good as offered follow up appointments. Staff are very friendly and caring.

Daisy had a mass cell tumour removed from her leg, the vets in question were excellent in their treatment of my dog and I would recommend them to anyone.

Everyone at the practice are so friendly, polite, chatty and genuinely interested in your pet. One of my dogs, Zodiac, is a regular visitor on regular meds. He's a rather special boy and needs confident handling due to his horrific past. All vets dealing with him, and in particular Jason and Gina, are very empathetic and patient with him. Thanks to them his trust in vets is improving! The nursing staff are also so polite and friendly, to me and my dogs! I can only highly recommend this practice. Long may it continue. Thank you.

We have been customers of Penmellyn Pool since it opened. It is a small but professional surgery that benefits from the Hospital in St Columb. All the team are professional and very friendly and our dog who has acute behaviour issues never feels insecure or scared when she visits. I would definitely recommend this surgery if what you're looking for is good old fashioned service but with all the modern and latest advances in veterinary medicine.
