This is my first visit to Penmelyn with my cat for his yearly vaccine, I seen James and he checked my cat fully and gave me good advice on his oral health, really pleased that he had good bill of health. Reception were very polite when paying the bill, explaining what your paying for.

I use Penmellyn vets because they ae very knowledgeable on pet chickens. I run a microsanctuary for poorlie exbatts and other rescue hens and often visit the vets for help with my girls. Jason and Gina are both excellent with my hens, being both experienced in treating pet hens and also willing to try different techniques and procedures should one of my girls have anything obscure or unusual. They never treat my hens as 'just a chicken' and my girls are as important to them as any other pets; with great respect and care. They show me great kindness and compassion when my hens have to be put to sleep. I have recommended them to friends, people who attend my courses and anyone local who needs a good chicken vet.

Over the 10 + years we have had guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and now have 2 dogs. Penmellyn have always shown great respect for the animals and given such great advice too. We have never had any problem at all with any of the vets and the dogs Buster and Kiwi are not at all afraid of going to the vet appointments. Of course we have seen many different vets over the years but each one has been polite, considerate and helpful. Thank you - in fact a huge thank you

My appointment at Penmellyn Vets in Newquay with my boxer Susie was a good experience. Susie was called in on time and seen by a lovely, friendly and very kind vet (Lindsey). The vet was extremely thorough and put Susie at ease straight away. She answered all my queries and I felt secure in the fact that I could call for advice if I had any worries at any time. All in all, as I said, a good experience. Thank you.
