Purton Vets - Purton Surgery77 High Street
We have a personal approach to looking after our clients and patients and believe continuity of care and being able to develop a trusting relationship is important. Your pets are our priority and we would like to emphasise the fact that their care is a partnership between yourselves and the practice. Our main surgery is located in the village of Purton and our branch surgery in Cricklade (consultation only), both sites having ample free parking and easy access.

Our dog was handed in as a stray to this practice and needed urgent and costly medical care. Graeme and his team carried out all procedures that needed to be done, without a concern for the monetary side and whether it would be paid. All of their concern was for Meg, which is such a refreshing change these days. The care she received while she was with them was above and beyond what would normally be expected. Despite never having been to this practice before (or even living in the area), the entire team were very helpful, supportive and understanding. The welcome we received was amazing and we will never be able to thank the whole team enough for their care and compassion. Meg was a very lucky girl! We promise photos of Meg on her road to recovery! You're all Superstars and Chris and I both thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We have been using Purton Vets since moving to the area a year or so ago. We were delighted to discover that they have several vets who are experienced in treating chickens, as we have a flock of about 25. They were extremely helpful and sympathetic during our recent mystery illness, which seems to be resolved at last after 2 courses of antibiotics. We also have 3 dogs, one of whom required minor surgery shortly after we joined the practice, and another who has ongoing eye problems. Our eye patient was referred to an ophthalmic veterinary specialist who regularly consults at Purton, who was able to perform a delicate eye operation on site. I cannot fault the friendly, professional and expert service we received during these procedures, and continue to receive each time we visit with one of our animals.

All staff members including vets, nurses and reception staff are compassionate, friendly, sympathetic and professional. I have every confidence in Purton Vets and trust them implicitly with the health and welfare of my cats. They inform me when annual check ups and vaccinations are due and I never have any misgivings in the way their services are carried out. I have been a client of Purton Vets since I moved to Wiltshire about 7 years ago.

I cannot rate Purton Vets highly enough, all of the staff whether they be Vets, Nurses or Support staff are some of the most caring, professional and dedicated people I know. They treat all of my pets as individuals and have a fantastic personal approach. My dogs are my world and I have to admit that I don't trust their care to many people, however I have utter trust and faith in all the staff and know that in the event that any of them have to go into the vets that the staff will look after them as if they are their own. I recommend Purton Vets to all of my friends and many have visited them to try them out..... none of them leave disappointed and all of them are now also happy clients of Purton Vets, they simply are the best.

I have been with the Purton vets for almost 30 years and believe me I have never thought of changing. They saw me through my years as a Siamese cat breeder always with understanding and support. I trust their decisions and know they will there if my pets need their help. My Siamese cats I know are in the best hands possible.
