The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. My dog Jimmy was well looked after, given excellent treatment with the records from his previous surgery being accessed promptly. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

We visited Strathmore with our two darling bunnies for their vaccinations. Both were very nervous and a bit jumpy, as they also needed nail clips. The vet we saw, Jack, was so loving, gentle and kind in his manner towards them, the likes of which I had never seen before. He put our buns at ease and us as well, getting down to their level on the floor, so as to keep their stress to a minimal...I was so impressed. So also with the nurse who came to do their nails, she was so kind and gentle. Loving our little ones is easy, but to see vets and nurses loving them too was amazing. Thank you xx

Without fail the staff and Vets are always friendly and understanding to the animals and owners. The care/treatment/advice and aftercare is exceptional and I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone who wants top class service. Thank you to you all.

We have used Strathmores for over 7 years now. They are always so wonderfully kind and understanding. They will come out to the car, in all weather's, to see my dog. Despite being a Great Dane and looking big and brave, she is a terrible coward when it comes to visiting the vet. They have seen me distraught and supplied tissues and kindness. They have saved my dogs life through prompt emergency surgery, for which i can never find enough words to say thank you.

My Belgian Malinois had two cysts removed. The vets were extremely good with her and I am very pleased with the service

Hi I have been very Impressed with all the treatment received for the last 40years With all my cockers. I would find it very difficult to find another Vets to compete with Strathmore.

I have been using Strathmore for many years and they have never failed me. My latest dog has proved to be more problematic than any animal I have ever had. I have had superb advice and treatment from Simon on every occasion. The nurses are brilliant and friendly and the reception staff are always friendly and helpful. The surgery is always clean and the grounds in the summer are stunning. If many Drs treated humans in the same manner as the vets in this practise treat the animals and explain things to their owners there would be far fewer NHS complaints. Thank you Strathmore for all your superb care, support and help over the years.

We have two Bernese Mountain dogs. A boy who is two (Hugo) and a girl who is three (Maddie). Hugo is a gentle giant and loves everyone. Maddie however suffers a bit with nervous aggression with people she doesn't know very well. Strathmore are always really good with her as they know what she is like. It doesn't matter how long it takes they make sure she is fairly calm before treating her. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Harley is the current Pet of the month and my baby boy [ I have 13 more baby boys and girls at home]he holds a very special place in my heart and when Simon and I discussed the treatment that Harley needed I never hesitated, but the day of the surgery I was a mess couldn't do a thing he was the only thing on my mind, if it had not been for the wonderful nurses and Simon phoning me with progress reports, I think I may have been bald!! Nothing was ever to much trouble, while Harley was in Hospital I could ring when ever I felt the need to for an update, everything was explained what had happened during the operation and what was involved in his aftercare and we were allowed to visit him that night. Since being home and making a full recovery he is just like a kitten again, running up the doors, chasing his brother Quinn and just being Harley. Sometimes thank you just not seem to be enough, but I thank you at Strathmore from the bottom of my heart on giving me back my boy. xx

My Husband John & I had our first dog when we had been married for a year and registered at Mr Smith's Practice in Salisbury Road (the predecessor of Strathmore). We are still at Strathmore under the expert guidance of Simon Robinson and have been for 53 years. No matter how ill the dogs are they always manage to wag their tails when they come threw the doors, and we know they are going to get excellent treatment.
