I have been a feline patient of Sussex Coast Vets for about ten years. I am a very nervous, wimpy, elderly, blind, epileptic cat, but all the staff are very kind to me, even when I make things hard for them when they try to take my blood or blood pressure. It must be very hard for them when I wriggle, miaow, bite & scratch when I'm scared, but they never get angry and are always very gentle with me.....(please tell them I'm sorry) My humanoid flat mate has every confidence in their caring, professional treatment and said she would highly recommend them. I suppose I would agree...... Thank you Lynn, Robert and everyone at Sussex Coast who has treated us recently. Love Lucky

We went in late evening with a very sick dog. The duty vet could not have been more helpful or understanding and so were the nursing and reception staff. We were treated with sympathy and kindness with everything carefully explained.

I have been a client with this practice for many years and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody requiring veterinary treatment for their pets. I took my cat along last month for her annual check up and innoculations and was treated in a kind and courteous manner.Everything was explained to us as our cat was being examined and we were given advice on her diet and asked if they could be of any further help with any questions that we may have. The newly refurbished practice is light, airy and very clean. A credit to everyone that works there. The gentleman vet that treated our cat was first class as was the veterinary nurse that greeted us and made a fuss of our cat! Well done.

We had to rush our Burmese cat to the emergency out of hours service. We were seen immediately by the vet who was fantastic. She talked us through everything she was doing and her thoughts on the cause of Baileys illness. I have never had a vet be so thorough in her examination and her genuine care for Bailey. We were kept informed at every stage of his treatment. I do not know the vets name but she went above and beyond what we would of expected and for that we are eternally grateful .

we have been extremely lucky with our labrador that we have not visited the vets much at all in her long life. After coming home from a morning out and finding my elderly dog in a very bad way I called the bexhill branch to ask about the process for euthanasia.... It was explained very respectfully and an appointment offered for 4.30 (it was 1.15) after explaining that Becky was really struggling and couldn't last that long they said to come in at 1.45 but the practice would be in full swing and to expect other people there during the upsetting time (that was why I was offered the later appointment) I managed lo get my poor dog into the car by carrying her in a sling made of sheets as by now she couldn't stand at all....I had to send my son in to say I was in the car park...I was greeted in a very compassionate way with two nurses who carried, very carefully, my Becky in. I was allowed time by myself with Becky but I was also asked if I would like my son to come in.....he's 10 and the nurse kindly got him in and allowed us quiet time to say goodbye. We must have been half an hour and at no point were we rushed. I was even allowed to come back later in the day for my eldest daughter to say goodbye to the only dog she has ever grown up with. Our Becky was 15, almost the same age as my daughter. I cannot praise the bexhill branch staff enough on how they dealt with a blubbering upset family. I was shocked to be allowed back to say goodbye but so relieved as I felt it was only right for the children to have their moment alone with her. I know this is a long review but I'm writing this with tears in my eyes as I am so shocked at how kind and understanding the staff were....at no point did I feel stupid for being upset or like I was keeping up their time. Words cannot express how sad we all are over this, without the compassion of the practice staff we would most certainly be feeling a lot worse. Thank you Chase Bexhill branch

My cat had completely given up, after taking her to the vets i was given a clear and exact plan to treat her and bring her back to full health, the staff provided me with everything and more to bring her hydration levels back up and medicine which got her back to acting like a young cat again, even at 8! The staff were very kind to my cat, making sure she felt safe and made me feel very reassured. The price was much better than what i dreaded and what brought me to this particular surgery in the first place. I will definitely bring my pets back to this surgery.

We live in Eastbourne and Alfie, one of our cats, had been in a nasty cat fight late on Friday 21/03/14 and had a very deep cut to the bridge of his nose that required immediate attention. We contacted our usual Vets in Eastbourne but they were closed and we were re-directed to Greenleaves Veterinary as they were the only out of hours service in our area! We apprehensive as we had not used their facilities before but we should not have been concerned. We could not praise both the Vet and nurse on duty that night. They patched up our beloved Alfie and we left in the knowledge that he had been really looked after. Thank you so much.
