I belong to animal rescue and had a 9 week old kitten come into my care she needed to have her leg amputated due to severe damage that could not be repaired. They undertook to do this when the kitten was refused the surgery by another vet that the kitten had originally gone into. They were caring and compassionate beyond words. I am pleased to say the kitten came through this terrible ordeal and is doing very well

I have two female cats who were spayed recently. I was very nervous as they are both quiet gentle cats. However, I need not have worried. The care provided from start to finish was fabulous. From having help bring them in from the car, booking them in, the examination and the after care - I felt I was dealing with professionals who genuinely cared about the cats and my feelings (I was nervous and anxious!!)The cats had their opps and were home the same afternoon with no problems. Thank you.

I would like to thank Mr Priest and all the team for the wonderful care and treatment given to my pet Mr Darcy. The team are professional, friendly and very caring. They go out of their way to give excellent care and nothing is too much trouble for them. I take all my pets there and feel confident with all the diagnosis and treatment. Highly recommend, first class service.

After contacting several veterinary surgeries this morning, for emergency help, I was provided with none and told to contact the RSPCA - who again refused to help us with a very poorly cat and told it was not their problem! However, thankfully, I came across Treforest veterinary surgery, and contacted them in my last hope to get help. They were just about to close, However, they told me to make our way to the surgery. On arrival the staff were immediately attentive, caring and very friendly. Unfortunately they had no other option than to put the poorly cat to sleep. I can't thank the staff at the surgery enough for all their help, after being turned away by several other veterinary surgeries, including one which I take my own animals to!! I will definitely be changing my veterinary surgery. I would highly recommend this surgery 100%.

Recently took two puppies to the vets as they were very ill and could not believe the way that they dealt with us. Not only with our puppies but with us too. They made sure that they phoned us at least every hour to keep us updates in their progress. One nurse who we cant thank enough took our puppies home and monitored them throughout the night. One puppy was critical and is now starting to get back to her normal self. They are caring and considerate to the animals in their care and are extremely honest with us on the outcomes that we could have faced. If it was not for them our puppies may have taken a turn for the worst. Definitely the best vets around! We recommend to anyone and will for sure be going back in the future.

Many, many thanks for all the kindness, consideration and care Roxanne had over the last nine months of her life, especially to Dr Helen Dixon, and the nurses. The treatment could not have been better.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff, especially Mr. Priest, for the wonderful care they have given to my cats over the years. The cats have always enjoyed long, healthy and pain free lives thanks to the very caring vets and staff. I recently had to have my cat Mitzi put to sleep - she was 21 years old and was still able to enjoy a stroll in the garden the day before she died. She suddenly went downhill and although I already knew what the outcome would be, Mr. Priest was extremely caring and compassionate and took time to explain the reasons that putting her to sleep was the right decision. I even received a sympathy card from the all the practice staff! I have two vet surgeries close to my home, but chose to go the extra distance to Treforest as this is definitley the best vetinary practice around. They always go the extra mile and I would 100% recommend Treforest vets.

We have used this practice for over 25 years. The staff are brilliant friendly & so kind to visitors human & animal. The current vets are lovely We always used Mike. My dogs love Helen she has warm hands. We travel a distance of 13 miles coming from Cardiff to see these guys, reason they are brilliant. The care given to both my dogs is so personal. Lovely people.

The staff and vets here always go above & beyond; providing top quality healthcare with a lovely attitude. They always explain things very clearly; so you can always understand your situation and it seems there is no task too big or small for them As theyve helped me with numerous different pets. I never want to go to any other vet.

My pet dog sadly died after 13 years, Henry had a numerous muscolo skeletal problems which under normal circumstances could have shortened his life. However thanks to Mr Preist Henry had a full and and active life more importantly a happy and pain free life. Whenever I needed an appointment the receptionists would always ensure Henry was seen that day by MR.Preist. I would recommend this practice to everyone for profesionalisum and knowledge of both Mr priest and all the staff.
