I wanted to write a review of this Vets after taking our cat to them on Sunday, 24 July, as a matter of urgency, as she had become unwell after staying in a cattery. This is not our local vet who we are very happy with, but who were closed, but should we ever need to change, we would not hesitate to choose Vets4Pets, Maidstone. From the phone call through to taking our cat in to be seen, they were extremely helpful and reassuring and the lady who treated our cat and examined her was so professional and caring. As a result when we got our kitty home, she started to pick up a bit and eat a little and today is getting more like her old self, due to the care and treatment received. As she is also diabetic, it was quite worrying seeing her go downhill within a week, but the change in her since yesterday is amazing. Thank you for your help and we would not hesitate to recommend this vets.

Sadly I lost my beloved boy, Ivan tried everything possible to prolong Huggys life making him comfortable in his last few weeks, nothing was too much trouble even calling me to see how he was. I travel a long way to this practice because I trust the honesty and reliability of the team. When the time came for Huggy to go to sleep it was done with dignity and we were treated with the upmost compassion. I would like to thank the team for making a very sad time bearable, I now have a rescue dog so once again I will travel the long trip to see Uncle Ivan for any care required for Basil.

ive been meaning to write a review of Vets for Pets for a very long while. If it hadn't have been for Ivan and his staff our family dog, Alfie, probably wouldn't still be with us! He was unfortunately hit by a car outside our house and the driver didn't stop. His front leg was very badly damaged, he had bone and all sorts exposed. If it hadn't had been for Ivan and his staff caring for Alfie every day for two weeks after, with me traveling from Bexley in Kent with him to have his bandages changed i truly believe he would never had healed the way he has. There isn't a mark on his leg and he was back to his bouncy self in no time at all thanks to them. They really are all remarkable and can't recommend or thank them enough.

I've been seeing Ivan now for 9 years, he has treated both of my staffies. I live in paddock wood and there are many other vets I could go to but the extra journey to Ivan is so worth it. The staff at Vets for Pets are just amazing, they care as much about our animals as we do and they look after us owners just as well! My first staffie Bella was diagnosed with a tumour, the whole family was absolutely devastated. It was so sudden that unfortunately there wasn't anything Ivan could do, he stood and and cried with me that day and still to this day when I see him with my Dolly he gets just as upset as I still do. He is such a caring man, he talks through absolutely everything whilst you are there and constantly updates you with progress if anything has to be done. I truly wouldn't go anywhere else with my pets, all of the staff are fantastic, and Ivan has a heart of gold. Him and the rest of the staff most definitely are Kents answer to Supervet!

Vets4pets what an amazing service we have received with our little Lily.. From the start when we first said she had a problem Ivan was so helpful and very informative, and explained the procedure very clearly and made us fully aware of costs etc so there were no big shocks. All of the other staff are so friendly too and everyone seems to care about your pet and ask how they are doing. We can't thank all of you enough for the love and care Lily received on her big operation day.

I had never met a vet that cared as much about my animals as I do, until I met Ivan and the team. They are compassionate and knowledgable people who not only can treat dogs and cats, Ivan is also qualified and very good with reptiles which is a specialist subject. Personally having had all my animals treated by Ivan which included my Snakes. Bearded dragon's, birds and my Tegu. I am so happy with the high degree of service we've received, I travel from Thurrock Essex every time any of my animals need help. The team went above and beyond for my dog Muppet who after months just couldn't be saved due to a rare condition. The whole team was so supportive and very patient with me when I just couldn't stop my tears and I felt like my world had caved in. I am so very very grateful to them all. I highly recommend vets 4 Pets Maidstone and do so on a regular basis..

We were recommended vetsforpets Maidstone for our bulldog by the breeder and have always been very happy with the level of care and service provided. Our beloved old cat became unwell and we initially took her to a closer vet however were disappointed with them and decided to take her to Ivan and have never regretted this decision. After 3 operarions and various appointments our beautiful 20 year old pussycat is as happy as ever all thanks to Ivan and his team. As far as value for money is concerned the results speak for themselves, the prices are always within the estimated value and given the level of skill and care provided entirely reasonable. We happily travel a 30 mile round trip to have the amazing care from Ivan and his team. Ivan always takes the time to explain clearly what is involved and has a calming nature when dealing with emergency situations and we trust him to make the best decisions for our furry friends. Ivan's level of care and professionalism is over and above and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending him.

I have been with Vet4Pets Sutton Road since I moved to the area in 2007 and I can honestly say that no other veterinary practice, whether here or where I used to live in South Africa, has shown genuine care and compassion for my pets, greets them by name and takes an interest in me as a person and pet owner. They have done emergency home visits at the drop of a hat, they have held my hand and cried along with me during moments of sadness and just last week saw my dog at a moments notice, despite having other emergency cases, after he was attacked by 3 Staffies. Ivan, Brent, Sarah P, Shirley, April, Daya, Anita, Phil, Cameron, Angela, Holly and the rest of the team are the most caring and genuine people I have ever had the pleasure to do business with and long may it continue!!

My dog became extremely ill whilst in the park,it was an effort to walk home. She then proceeded to vomit blood and also pass blood from her bottom. I rang Vets4Pets Maidstone on opening. They were fully booked,it was after a double bank holiday. I explained the situ and was told she could go in as an emergency. She was seen straight away by Ivan Clarke,he took bloods and gave her a thorough exam. He priced things up as we proceeded and gave me options. He made her comfortable, anti sickness meds. We went home. Soon after I got a call to say Hazel had acute pancreatitis and need to be hospitalized and go on a drip. I returned immediately. On settling her in again I was explained costings, which I appreciated.I left knowing she was in safe hands, every staff member there is kind and professional, nothing is too much trouble. I particularly like to be able to check her progress on their FB page. On collecting her,Ivan spent a long time drawing diagrams and explaining her condition,no other vet I know treats customers as people and not just a number. I got follow up phone calls to check on her progress and I'm well aware this condition could of proved fatal had it not been for this man and his team.
