After not having a pet of my own since I was a child I was a little worried which vet to choose. I am so pleased I went to this practice. Richard and his team are so kind to the animals and answer any questions you may have. I had my pet spayed and of course was worried as I did not know what to expect. Everyone including the nurses and the receptionists were so kind and considerate and put my mind completely at rest. I have recommended this vet to all my friends and will continue to do so.

My pets have been registered with Richard Sant and his colleagues/staff at Redditch Vets4Pets since the practice opened some years ago. I have visited the practice possibly more regularly than most as I have been dog breeding since 2009. The service you receive really is second to none. The high standards have been maintained at all times and I have always received veterinary care that I know I can trust. My most recent visit was yesterday when my dog had a major operation to his hind leg. The progress he has made in under 24 hours is magnificent, he has been discharged with medication, food and advice that without, I doubt he would of made such good progress. I am really grateful to Richard and his team for the relationship we have built over the years and the confidence that I have in him and his team. Thank you all (past and present) at Vets4Pets Redditch.

Having a young cocker spaniel who was only recently diagnosed with diabetes and is not 5 years old until August is quite traumatic. We have had a difficult 5 years trying to care for him and get the diagnosis and although we have Kennel Club pet Insurance for him , due to taking him to the vets within the 10 day cooling off period because he had an ear problem they excluded skin from his cover! We purchased him at 4 months old from an accredited Kennel club Breeder and since then we have had to care for all his problems.He started by having ear problems ( every days we have to put ear lotion in and every other cleaner).He was diagnosed with a dry eye conditon so each day also needs eye cream.At one Stage he was tested and put on drugs for his thyroid but the vet wasnt sure although now this is due to be re-checked. He also had lab tests and had a day at Willows Hospital in Solihull and seen the ear specialist, eye and the Neurologist due to having sensitivity of the spine. When I came to vets 4 pets in Redditch I was just looking for Henrys glucose levels to get under control and some tests like his thyroid so could start to rule things out. I didnt feel comfortable after seeing vet Marina Fernandez when we had to wait for nearly an hour due to an emergency( which is fair enough because these things happen but not when you forget to give the dog ear lotion and then the recepitionist says oh she probably wont give you any now it is too late -she wants to go home)!! We eventually got some but not Henrys usual ear lotion. I moved my dog to a different vets. About 6 weeks later I received a call asking me to fetch the insurance form which I thought had been sent off to the Kennel Club. On Collecting the form I was stunned to see and absolutely disgusted that in the statement it says;Also offered of treating the atopica skin as theres plenty of drugs that can improve Henrys skin9preds/Apoquel/Atopica)but O declined because its not been covered by the insurance company!So Henrys been neglected in that term. NEWSFLASH; HOW DARE THIS PERSON SAY OUR DOG IS NEGLECTED. DOES SHE NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THAT TERMINOLOGY OF THE WORDING MEAN? WE HAVE PAID OUT THOUSANDS OF POUNDS IN VETS BILLS FOR HENRY OVER THE LAST 5 YEARS AND HE IS WORTH MILLIONS TO US.WE ALSO PAY £50 A MONTH INSURANCE ASWELL AS HIS ON GOING VETS BILLS BECAUSE HE DOES HAVE DAILY EAR LOTION THAT ISNT COVERED BY INSURANCE.wE ALSO PAY FOR THE EAR CLEANER,SHAMPOO.HENRY IS NOW AT THE VETS ON A 4 WEEK BASIS FOR GLUCOSE CURVE TESTS SO I THINK IF WE WERE NEGLECTING OUR DOG THEN SURELY NONE OF THIS TREATMENT WOULD BE BEING DONE!!! i WOULD LIKE AN APOLOGY FROM THIS COMPANY FOR THE DISTRESS CAUSED.We did try to clarify the matter with this particular vet but she only changed certain wording and said it was just her opinion. I DO NOT THINK SHE UNDERSTANDS THE MEANING OF THE WORD NEGLECT AND HOW STRONG A ENGLISH WORD THAT IS TO USE ( BIT OF A DIFFERENCE TO WHAT YOU READ ABOUT IN THE PAPERS WHEN YOU SEE DOGS TIED UP OUTSIDE RAILWAY STATIONS OR LEFT IN HOUSES WITH NO FOOD OR WATER OR NEVER TAKEN TO A VET).
