I recently had to have my 14 yr cat, Kitty put to sleep due to her illness, she had taken a turn for the worse overnight and they saw her straight away next morning,sadly she was too ill to be treated and i was assured in the kindest way that euthenisation was the best option, i was given time on my own with her to say goodbye as long as i needed. she was treated with care until the end and it was peaceful and she wasnt stressed,the only thing i found a bit off was the fact i was beside myself with grief yet i was given the bill beforehand and options for burial/ cremation services a decision i found difficult to deal with so soon.

This vets used to be a lovely vets with a lot of permanent staff I've noticed that the last year or so so many new staff are there who don't seem to have the patience or dignity anymore it's s shame I've now found alternative vet care which prices are much more affordable

I brought a very sick stray to yourvets solihull on Saturday. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or compassionate. They brought a cage with a blanket out to place him in and spoke to it softly. We were willing to take the cat on, but they explained they would need to do a blood test for feline aids first. They did this and promised to have the results within 20 min. Whilst I was waiting they brought me a coffee with a brownie and encouraging words. Very sadly, the cat was too ill to survive (heart failure, liver and kidney disease, tooth decay) and I therefore agreed the kindest thing to do was to have the cat put to sleep. They made no mention that i had only just found him instead talking me through the options as though I'd owned him all his life. This made the experience a lot less traumatic. My dog is also registered here and has always received wonderful care when visiting. The one time we need to use the out of hours emergency centre in coventry, we were met at the door, they already knew my dogs name and addressed her as such and were so reassuring at what was a very scary time. I would always recommend this veterinary practice!

I have 4 cats registered st this practice & always been very impressed with the staff working there. More recently my cat who has asthma needed a bit of extra support was admitted. Sarah who was a locum working there that day was fabulous ! Staff are excellent, always helpful & knowledgeable in particular the reception staff who are excellent. Emily is a real treasure & im sad she's moving on but pleased she has got some recognition for how good she is. James & Michelle who are fantastic nurses. My only criticism is they need some additional vets to join permanently/ I know this is being addressed.

I took my cat to this local vets and I was extremely disappointed. My cat had a popped abscess and had a massive hole in her neck. They told us that it's a 50/50 chance that she would live. My cats personality was still the same. They said she had to have surgery for £400+ As we couldn't afford this we went to the pdsa and she is healing rapidly. The pdsa asked why we didn't clean the infection but we got told not to by this vet

Sorry you were not happy with the service you received. As you were not able to pay for the treatment required for your cat, we advised and helped you set up an appointment with the PDSA. Before you left the clinic you were given antibiotics, 2 types of pain relief and a buster collar to make sure the cat was as comfortable as possible. We hope your cat is making a good recovery. We registered our cat Rosie at the Solihull branch in March 2015 when she was diagnosed with heart failure ( we had previously used another vets) , we were very upset at the diagnosis but with regular check ups and daily tablets prescribed by the vets she lived for another very happy sixteen months. This weekend we realised she had taken a turn for the worse and had to make the very difficult and upsetting decision to have her put to sleep. At our request Dan the vet and Adele came to our house and our beloved Rosie was able to end her days in a familiar environment. We can't thank you enough for that. If in the future we have another pet we would return to the same vets and have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone else. It is a lovely environment and everyone is really welcoming and caring and have the utmost respect for our pets.

My husband and I were in the unfortunate position of having to allow our old and much loved cat Lucky to be put to sleep. We rang YourVets and discussed this with them. They were very sympathetic and helpful. When the time came to take Lucky to them, we were welcomed by friendly and respectful staff who did their very best to make the situation as stress free as it possibly could be. A few days later we received a very nice sympathy card, hand written, expressing their sympathy. A very nice and welcomed gesture.

Had to take our dog Jess to see the vets our local vets was booked and was nearly closing was told about this local one that was open till 8.00, so we took Jess, loved it as soon as I walked in spacious friendly, we saw the vet gurth, what a lovely man proper old school vet (and that's not being disrespectful) he was lovely and attended to Jess nothing was too much explained everything to us and made sure Jess was sorted. Would definitely recommend this place , very friendly,helpful staff too

Last Saturday 7th May 16, attended appointment arranged that morning. Cat for some weeks on and off showing blood on stool. Given couple of worm treatments 10days apart. But symptoms returned. Vet examined cat and found nothing obvious but could be bacteria, so given injection, and follow up anti biotic in liquid form, given with a little Tuna which she goes mad for. Into four days and it appears all is well, cat happy improvement noted following day after visit. Vet had time to listen and no rushed manner Thank you all Team again for your Spot On treatment to your customers .. Mr & Mrs Owen
